Mission Statement

To create an age-appropriate, morally sound, self-enhancing environment for all students to develop a love and appreciation for the art of dance and its significance in their individual lives.

 Philosophy

 Southwest Dance Academy believes in instilling a genuine love and appreciation for the art of dance along with a general understanding of how the human body’s natural movements correlate with the auditory stimulation of music.  All students will be given an equal opportunity to develop strong technical skills at their own pace regardless of race, religion, or economic background.   All classes are taught at an age appropriate, morally sound level constructed around the individual students in each class.  Dancers will advance in levels on an individual basis according to age, maturity, and technical strength.  No instructor will pressure any student to excel beyond his or her own desire.  All dancers with the desire and determination to excel will be given the proper guidance and every necessary opportunity to succeed.
